ABOUT US

Our Story

Sano School of Culinary Medicine is the UK’s leading online nutrition education business offering a Diploma in Culinary Medicine. Developed by Dale Pinnock, using evidence-based nutritional science, our diploma provides students with the knowledge and tools to make food choices and develop recipes based around health. It is the place to discover and learn the power of nutritional science and evidence-based eating for better health.

Dale originally formed The School of Culinary Medicine in 2015 and developed the Diploma in Culinary Medicine to enable those interested in nutrition to study at a more detailed level without committing to a full time degree or just a quick beginners certificate. He also wanted to create something that is totally flexible to fit around peoples’ lives no matter how busy their schedule is. The diploma is applicable to all those with an interest in food and nutrition including health professionals, nutritionists, fitness instructors, wellness experts and bloggers.

In 2016, together with Doug and Heather Richards, Dale co-founded Sano with the aim of sharing truthful information about cooking and eating food that is rooted in fact. Sano is all about teaching everyone that medicinal health benefits can come from delicious food. It is a group of four businesses that support a new way of thinking and educate the community about healthy living. Every part of the group is committed to providing customers with practical nutrition solutions that are great for their health and based on nutritional science rather than fad or fashion.
